Online Caribbean Stud Poker

Caribbean stud poker is simply a different variety of poker. The game starts with each player placing an ante bet. Everyone is then given five cards, including the dealer. Players’ cards are dealt face down, but the dealer has one face-up card and four face down.

You have to decide whether to fold or raise based on the dealer’s face-up card. Twice your ante must be put in the raise box if you decide to raise. This is referred to as the call bet. It’s a good idea to make a call bet if you have a pair or an ace and king and the same card as the dealer’s face-up card.

You lose your bet and your cards if you fold. You may want to fold if you have less than an ace and a king.

The dealer shows his cards after all bets have been placed. The dealer folds if he doesn’t have at least an ace and a king or a better poker hand. Each player would then be paid even money for their ante bet and call bets are classified as a push.

But if the dealer can continue to play, their hand is compared to each player’s hand. If the dealer wins, the house collects the ante bet and any other bets. Players are paid even money on their ante bet if they win. The list below outlines the payoff schedule for call bets if you win:
